In light of the increasing need for automation, accuracy, and adherence to regulations, the market for automatic weighing instruments in Europe has been focusing on considerable technological progress. This research offers a thorough assessment of Coop Bilanciai’s most outstanding weighing machines called Weighing Price Labelers (WPL), compared to leading rivals selected by the company expertise whereas they believe these companies are strong competitors in the market by adopting and adjusting many more standard features in the WPL machines with the aim of achieving a higher level of customer satisfaction. Utilizing a qualitative and comparative approach, the study has chosen to examine essential technical factors, where all the specifications mainly deal with mechanical efficiency of the WPL machines. The study is mainly based on a competitor analysis where the selected competitors’ WPL machines were compared against Coop Bilancia’s WPLs. The data has been collected through primary and secondary data sources, where meetings with the managers, factory visits, in-site learnings and company websites, brochures related to the product and other social media platforms became main sources of data collection respectively. The competitor analysis has finalized then by choosing four main technical features; product per minute, label dimensions, scale range and scale interval of the WPL machines and also only selected competitors were added and considered for the final work. The research wraps up by suggesting focused investments in research and development initiatives, incorporating intelligent technologies to enhance the company’s competitive position in the evolving European market.
