The rapid evolution of cyber threats in the world requires the deployment of innovative technologies that can can help mitigate issues and reduce potential damage. The multi-billion dollar industry that has been created around cybercrime, only makes it more appealing to threat actors. The importance of leveraging the newest technologies like AI and more precisely Large Language Models, has become a necessity to achieve better results than before. Finding ways to implement these technologies with already existing software and services, can be a challenging but at the same time very important to stay ahead of newer attacks. This thesis will focus on how LLMs can be a powerful tool for vulnerability assessments, and how they can change the way we execute these operations.
