This thesis examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on marketing strategies and techniques, highlighting how this technology is profoundly transforming the way companies operate, make decisions, and interact with consumers. In an economic environment characterized by increasing digitalization and growing competitive pressure, AI represents a strategic tool capable of improving operational efficiency, supporting data analysis, and fostering the development of more innovative and personalized marketing approaches. The thesis begins with a theoretical overview of Artificial Intelligence, tracing its historical evolution, its main definitions, and its different typologies, with particular attention to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, the distinctions between weak AI and strong AI are examined, emphasizing both current applications and future perspectives of this technology. Subsequently, the study explores the theoretical foundations of marketing, focusing on the transition from traditional marketing to digital and data-driven marketing. In this context, particular attention is given to the growing centrality of data as a strategic resource for understanding markets, interpreting consumer behavior, and developing increasingly customer-oriented offerings. The core section of the thesis is dedicated to analyzing the impact of AI on marketing strategies. Particular attention is devoted to market segmentation, targeting, and positioning processes, demonstrating how algorithms enable companies to identify customer needs more accurately and develop predictive models capable of anticipating consumer behavior. Special emphasis is placed on offer personalization, recommendation systems, and customer retention strategies based on Customer Lifetime Value. The thesis then investigates the effects of AI on the main marketing techniques, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), programmatic advertising, social media marketing, and marketing performance analysis. The use of chatbots, virtual assistants, and automated tools makes it possible to enhance customer experience, optimize promotional campaigns, and support faster and more effective decision-making processes. Finally, the study examines the opportunities, limitations, and managerial implications associated with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence. Alongside the competitive advantages it offers, AI also raises critical issues related to privacy, data security, algorithmic bias, and ethical concerns. In this scenario, the ability of organizations to develop new competencies and responsibly integrate AI into their decision-making processes becomes increasingly important. The ultimate objective of this thesis is to demonstrate that Artificial Intelligence is not merely a technological innovation but a strategic transformation factor capable of redefining the future of marketing and business management.
